Community Development Projects
ARTEH is a profit-for-purpose organisation because part of its revenue is direct to community development projects.
These projects focus on Indigenous-led development, through initiatives of economic welfare that privileges environmental justice and localisation. To promote the results achieved by the communities we work along, we produce cultural material, including writings and filmmaking.
ARTEH provides facilitation and information on community development programmes focused on economic and environmental dimensions. Our founding framework is to raise awareness of the connection between local and global issues through working with communities about how to restructure the system that is generating problems.
ARTEH practices community development based on a practice framework which values are sustainability, equality, interconnectedness and fertility, as a community-self alternative to governmental, corporate and international aid.
