Natalie Hurtado – Co-Founder
Natalie graduated from UQ’s Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation program in 2020, majoring in Sustainable Energy, and has recently been recognised as a UQ Future Leader. She is an actuary by training, Master in Risk Management, and got her PhD in Business Administration, major in Finance, all in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, before migrating to Australia. She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, having been a regulatory authority in the constitution of the Sustainable Insurance Forum (SIF) under the umbrella of the United Nations Environmental Program Financial Initiative (UNEP FI). Natalie founded ARTEH in the beginning of 2020, after leading EARTH Inc. team through the Global Business Challenge 2019.
